On going to a concert/cinema without expectations
In the last couple of days, I have done something that I've never done before. I went to a concert without knowing ANY songs from the artist I was seeing. And it was so fun. The crowd was hyped, knew all of the lyrics, the mood was excellent. I almost felt an impostor syndrome, as if I "stole" that ticket from a potential bigger fan than me. But the venue wasn't full so this feeling quickly faded away.
The following day, I went to see two movies at the cinema, back to back, without having even watched the trailer or the synopsis. The first movie was a miss for me (the 2026 Faces of Death), but the second one (Exit 8) was great. I want to believe that the experience of seeing it at the cinema without having any previous knowledge about it made it even better.
